Smashgard films strengthen standard glass to unbelievable proportions,
withstanding attacks from an array of different weapons, preventing
damage, disruption and personal injury caused by the inconvenience and
upset that theft and vandalism causes. An optically clear high tensile
polyester film with ultra strong mounting adhesives bonded to the
internal side of standard glass of vehicles and buildings to give
maximum protection, our films are available in a variety of thicknesses
from 2mil (50 micron) to the maximum 14mil (350 microns), 7mil (175
micron) and above has passed stringent Bomb Blast Tests and all pass
Government and Consumer programme standards.
Safety
The installation of our safety films to Residential, Architectural or
Automotive glass will give maximum protection in the event of an
accident, protecting the occupants from the effects of flying glass and
more importantly serious injury. Installed to the inside of the glass
and bonded with a strong mounting adhesive, the film will protect those
concerned by strengthening it, assisting in preventing the glass from
breaking. In the event that the glass should break, the film will lock
the glass within the framework preventing glass shards from entering the
property and retaining the broken glass within the framework, forming a
barrier to those inside.
For internal window and door glass of buildings, it is advised that our
safety films are installed to both sides of the glass giving maximum
protection. In the event that the broken glass is touched, the film will
form a barrier to the occupants and retain the glass safely within the
framework until a replacement has been found. Installed to vehicles, the
film will protect the occupants from serious injury in the event of a
vehicle accident, strengthening the glass and locking the glass into the
framework, preventing glass shards from entering. Safety films can be

Automotive
Security window films installed to your vehicles glass will give maximum
protection against Smash and Grab attacks, Road Rage attacks, Vandalism
and Vehicle theft combined with the added protection against injury in
the event of a vehicle accident.
A high tensile polyester film bonded to the glass with ultra strong
laminating adhesives, security film will withstand attacks from numerous
implements including Hammers, Bricks, Baseball Bats, Spark Plug Shards
and Sharp points like Metal Punches, protecting your vehicle and
contents from the threat and inconvenience that goes with it.
With most modern vehicles installed with a factory fitted alarm system,
in the event of an attempted break in; the first strike will bounce off
of the vehicles
 glass,
setting off any alarm systems and leaving the glass intact. If this does
not deter the thief, the film will withstand further blows from the used
method, withstanding a large number of strikes before the glass will
eventually break (With the noise generated from repeated blows from the
used weapon and alarm system, most thieves will leave the scene within
the first few hits not wanting to draw attention to themselves and
leaving the glass intact). In the event that the glass is broken, the
film will lock the broken glass into the framework of the vehicle
withstanding further abuse, preventing entry and leaving the vehicle and

Automotive
We have a number of options available to you for a quick and easy
installation ensuring minimum disruption

You can drop your vehicle at our premises; we
will drop you back at home or place of work and then collect you
when your vehicle is ready. (Home and work drop offs depend on
location)

We can arrange to collect your vehicle from your
home or place of work (depending on location) and drop it off either
at the end of the day or after the installation has been made. (We
are fully insured to drive any vehicle that you have)

If you are in a trade capacity and have workshop
facilities, we can arrange to have our products installed at your
premises. (These facilities need to be clean to avoid contamination
to the films so that we can give the best possible installation)

If the vehicle you have is of a commercial
nature, i.e. Motor home, Van, HGV etc., we can arrange to install
the product at the premises or location of your choice. Please Note:
- This will depend on weather conditions - We cannot install in wet
and windy conditions as this will affect the quality of the install
to the vehicle.
