GraffitiGard.
Based on 7mil (175 micron) Safety and Security film, the installation of GraffitiGard to glass area’s subjected to vandalism and graffiti will assist in the gradual demise of this form of vandalism. For glass area’s such as Bus shelters, the film is installed to both sides of the glass and sealed to the framework. In the event that vandalism occurs and the glass is repeatedly struck with numerous items in the attempt to break the glass, the film will strengthen it to Bomb Blast Capabilities and will withstand a barrage of abuse. With the noise generated from repeated strikes, vandals will finally tire of hitting the glass and in the risk of getting caught, flee the area leaving the glass intact. In the event that the glass should finally break, the film will lock into the framework and hold the glass in place withstanding further abuse. This will prevent injury to the general public as the film will seal the broken glass between the 2 layers of film, remaining in the framework and forming a barrier to the outside, still allowing the window to be touched without the risk of injury.
With existing glass, in the event of an attack the glass would break leaving fragments scattered all over the path and glass still caught in the edges of the framework, a risk to the general public and animals. GraffitiGard will hold the glass in place preventing injury until a replacement glass is installed.
Suitable for all types of glass subjected to graffiti and vandalism, GraffitiGard will withstand a number of attacks from various implements and with its protective coating, seal the glass from damage caused by Battery acid, spray paints and etchings.
Recommended for installation to Bus Shelters, Advertising displays, Phone Boxes, Shop windows, Schools and Offices, GraffitiGard will protect the area of concern and assist in moving the vandals away from the area.
