About Us

Welcome to SMASHGARD Security Solutions. Based in Daventry Northants, SMASHGARD was setup by husband and wife team Darren and Danielle Botterill  in 2005. After stumbling across Security Film by chance in 2003, we were truly amazed at the capabilities of security film and the benefits it would have on the general public. Other commitments resulted in a 6 month gap before we deciding to look into it further which resulted in 18 months of extensive research into the various types of film, visiting shows and speaking to the public. The response from the public was overwhelming and after sourcing the highest quality film and extensive training from a film specialist flown in especially from America with over 20 years experience, SMASHGARD was born.

Now specialising in security and solar films, we aim to give the highest quality service to our customers, making it simple for you to decide and choose the best product suited for your needs. Whether you are looking for a coloured tint on your car windows or your office block enhanced with security or solar films to give it a whole new modernised look, we can arrange to see you with our demonstration material so that you can decide what is best for your requirements. If you prefer, we can send you the product information of your choice so that you can read up on our products at your leisure, we don't believe in pressure tactics, contact us when you're ready, we're always willing to help.

Installations

Automotive

If you are interested in having your vehicle installed with either a Window Tint or Security Film, feel free to contact us and we can arrange for your vehicle to be booked in at the most convenient time for you. We have a number of options available to you for a quick and easy installation, just choose one of the following which suits your personal needs, we will work around you.

1. You can drop your vehicle at our premises, we will either drop you back at home, place of work or in town for you to do your shopping, then collect you when your vehicle is ready. (Home and work drop offs depend on location)

2. We can arrange to collect your vehicle from your home or place of work (depending on location) and drop it off either at the end of the day or after the installation has been made. (We are fully insured to drive any vehicle that you have)

3. If you are in a trade capacity and have workshop facilities, we can arrange to have our products installed at your premises. (These facilities need to be clean to avoid contamination to the films so that we can give the best possible installation)

4. If the vehicle you require installing with either the tint or security film is of a commercial nature, i.e. Motorhome, Van, HGV, Narrow Boat etc., we can arrange to install the product at the premises or location of your choice. Please Note:- This will depend on the weather conditions - We cannot install in wet and windy conditions as this will affect the quality of the install to the vehicle.

5. If you are the owner of a motorhome, please check out the motorcaravanners section in the toolbar at the top of this page for demonstrations in your area. At these demonstrations or shows, we will be doing installs on the vehicles whilst there. If you are interested in having your motorhome installed with any of our films at one of these demo's or shows, we advise that you book prior to turning up so as to avoid disappointment due to the limitations we have at these venues.

Architectural & Residential

For Architectural and Residential installations, please call us using any of the methods listed in the Contact Us page. We can arrange to visit you with our demonstration material for a non obligatory discussion with regards to your requirements and to view the quality of our products before committing to buy.
